One-Stop Integrated Workforce & Welfare Supply Operations
Operational Compliance & Regulatory Governance
Financial Year: 2026/2027
Last Reviewed: July 2026
At Southgate Global Services Limited (“Southgate Global”), compliance is not a reactive process; it is the structural foundation of our operations. As a premier workforce management and logistics delivery partner operating within the UK civil engineering and tier-1 infrastructure sectors, we are dedicated to operating ahead of the regulatory curve.
This framework outlines our adherence to the latest 2026 UK legislative mandates governing public procurement, labour supply, and workforce rights.
1. Right to Work & Immigration Compliance (October 2026 Readiness)
In preparation for the enforcement of Section 48 of the Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Act 2025 (effective 1 October 2026), Southgate Global has overhauled our entire vetting architecture. We recognise that right-to-work liability now extends beyond traditional direct employment into agency, casual, and subcontracted labour models.
- Digital Verification: We utilise government-registered digital verification providers for all Right to Work (RTW) checks prior to site induction.
- Contractual Allocation: Our subcontractor and agency agreements contain clear, audit-able right-to-work compliance obligations and evidence-sharing protocols.
- Supply Chain Transparency: We take full operational responsibility for the identity verification of every operative utilising our transit fleets or deployed to our managed welfare compounds.
2. Public Procurement Act (2026 Mandates)
Southgate Global is fully aligned with the transparency and performance obligations introduced under the Procurement Act 2023 (Commencement No. 4) Regulations 2025, which came into force in 2026. We operate as a low-risk, highly transparent partner for contracting authorities and principal developers.
- Prompt Payment Enforcement: We strictly adhere to Section 69 payment compliance duties, ensuring that our downstream subcontractors and operatives are paid valid, undisputed invoices within 30 days.
- Performance KPI Reporting: We actively assist our public sector and tier-1 partners in meeting their Section 71 Contract Performance Notice requirements by providing accurate, real-time data on our workforce deployment metrics and logistics efficiency.
- Below-Threshold Compliance: We maintain our unique supplier identifier on the Central Digital Platform to facilitate seamless contract management.
3. Worker Protections & Social Value
We are committed to delivering tangible social value and ensuring that outsourced personnel are never structurally disadvantaged.
- Fair Pay Protocols: We welcome the Government’s drive to protect workers’ pay and conditions on outsourced contracts. All Southgate Global operatives are compensated at rates commensurate with industry standards and strict UK minimum wage laws.
- Social Value Tracking: We actively track and report on social value KPIs, including the removal of private vehicles from local infrastructure (via our transit fleets) and the localization of workforce supply, aiding our partners in meeting their regional economic targets.
4. Cyber Security & Operational Resilience
Because we manage sensitive vetting data and operate centralised dispatch hubs, we maintain robust digital security protocols.
- Our digital infrastructure is designed to protect against disruption, aligning with the principles of the UK’s evolving network and information systems (NIS) resilience standards.
- All tender applications, compliance documentation, and payroll data are processed through encrypted, access-controlled cloud environments.
